About Me
I am a member of Yarrow Coven and Coven of the Greenwood. I hold a study group on paganism in my home. I attend a variety of local events including FWF and Coffee Coven. I am on the St. Louis Pagan Picnic committee and the St. Louis Witches Ball & Masque Committee. Yes, I'm a little busy!
Music
I love a variety of music.
I listen to a lot of Tori Amos, though!
Movies
Labyrinth, Legend, Dark Crystal are some of my all time faves.
Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean are great too!
TV
Right now I'm into Bones, CSI, NCIS, and House.
Books
I like Sci-fi and Fantasy books.
Anything by Anne Bishop, Stephen King, and Anne Rice.
Likes
I like people with open minds! I like to read everything. I also like to write.
Dislikes
I don't like being told I can't do something.
Hobbies
I like to write and cook.
Vices
I'm a perfectionist.
Virtues
I'm a good listener and I try to always do what I say I will.
Heroes
My great-grandma and my grandma. Both were strong women that I learned a great deal from. I will miss them dearly!
Now, I've never really thought of myself as a teacher, but it's a role I've sort of fallen into and one that I feel compelled to explore. Rowan and I have put together a Wicca 101 class that will last 13 consecutive weeks. It will be a safe and structured learning environment for those who are just starting out and seeking to learn in a structured setting.
We've got to polish our notes a bit and see who is interested (novices only) and then we'll go from there.
Between this and working toward my own 1st degree with Coven of the Greenwood the next month or two will be interesting. But, hey, I'm looking forward to seeing where this journey will lead.
Well, I had an excellent time at Lammas with Greenwood. One of our lovely ladies took her dedication oath to the coven and then we had a lovely ritual afterwards celebrating the sabbat.
There has been a lot going on since picnic and even more to come.
I'm helping plan not only the Witches Ball in October, but also my wedding for the same month!
Yes, I certainly may be crazy. If not now then definately afterward!
This is just a reminder that St. Louis Pagan Picnic is less than 1 month away and will be in Tower Grove Park.
